Gary and Shirley Bohanon are the leaders of Mission Rwanda. They have been in full time ministry for more than 45 years, both as missionaries and as pastors. When visiting Rwanda in 2009 and 2010 as part of their church’s mission outreach, they felt a special love and connection with the people of Rwanda. In the Fall of 2010, a door was opened that would allow them to return to full-time missionary work in the country of Rwanda. Their ministry in Rwanda includes training pastors, conducting crusades and building churches.
From the days of the Apostle Paul forward, missionary work has been about partnership. In 1 Corinthians 3:6, Paul writes "I planted the seed in your hearts and Apollos watered it but it was God who made it grow." (NLT) That is not only how spiritual results happen, it is also how ministry is facilitated. Some people give while others go but God gives the increase and receives the glory.
